Mahesh Babu's fans hoped to see Dookudu on their favourite star's birthday - August 9th. But they will have to wait further a month to see the film in theatres. Sources told us that the film requires 40 more days to wrap up the entire shoot. Although director Srinu Vytla and producers are hoping to release the movie on August 26th, it is unlikely tocome on that day, going bythe current pace of the shoot.
Dookudu was planned as a quickie movie by Mahesh Babu but the movie is also getting delayed for variousreasons and it is almost taking a year to complete the shoot. Normally directorSrinu Vytla releases a movie within 6 to 8 months of its launch.
Mahesh's last film, Khaleja was released in October 2010.

Missed 'Kajra Re' with Dad: Ram Charan
A day after Chiranjeevi’s ‘official’ retirement from acting, his son Ram Charan expressed his disappointment with his dad’s decision. He said he hoped to do a song like “Kajra Re..” with Chiranjeevi in Telugu. Amitabh and his son Abhishek Bachchan had danced to the superhit song - “Kajra Re..” in the film Bunty Aur Babli. ThoughChiru and Ram Charan shared screen space in theall-time-biggest grosser Magadheera, fans they didn’t do a song together or a full length film like Amitabh and Abhishek did.
Ram Charan tweeted: “I dreamt of doing a song likeKajra Re with Dad. I really envy Abhishek Bachchan tohave done so many movieswith his dad.”

'Kandireega' to release on July 29
Ram and Hansika starrer Kandireega is set to release on July 29th. Producer Bellamkonda is planning to launch the film's music in the first week of July. Directed by newcomer Santosh Srinivas, it has music by Taman.
