'Urumi' to release in Aug first week 'Urumi'

One of India's ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan's directorial venture 'Urumi' is all set to release in the first week of August. Malayalam star Prithvi Raj, Vidya Balan, Prabhu Deva, Genelia D'Souza, Tabu, Nitya Menen, Arya et al acted in this prestigious project. The movie is a story on incidents that happened when Vasco Da Gama discovered sea route to India and reached Kerala in 15th century. This film released in Malayalam few months ago. This film got great reviews in Malayalamand now it is coming up in Telugu. The logo and audio of this movie will be launched on July 10th in Hyderabad. Yetanother popular director Amol Gupte too acted in this movie. S V R Media Private Limited bought the Telugu distribution rights for this film. Deepak Dev is the music director for the project. We are yet to see how this biggest ever multi starrer film does at Telugu box office.

According to a report, there are nearly 70million drug users in the country and nearly 5000 people below 21 years die due to drug overdose each year. With drug abuse becoming rampant, the foundation has decided to create awareness regarding the same. With drug abuse leading to HIV, Cancer and other criminal acts, this step by the foundation is being hailed by the cine folks.

'Mr Lavangam' to release in the month end

Senior actor Tanikella Bharani's son Teja's movie 'Mr Lavangam' will release in theatres at the end of this month. Malladi is the director of this movie and A K Saikumar is the producer. Sindhu is the heroine in thisfilm. Most of the senior comedians from Tollywood acted in this flick. The audio of this movie was launched last month and the film is ready to be screened for the censor board. "Teja acted well. The response for the audio of this film is good. The post-production work also is complete. We will release it in the last week of this month." director Malladi said. Suman Setty, Bramhanandam, Krishna Bhagawan, Ranganath, Chalapati Rao, Kondavalasaet al acted in this romantic comedy. Rishal Sai is the music director for the project.

Ram and Hansika starrer love entertainer 'Kandireega' is all set to launch its audio on July 10th. This movie has been shooting for the past one year. Santosh Srinivas is the director for this film and Bellamkonda Suresh is the producer. The movie unit had been to Switzerland recently to shoot a few songs. Ram and Hansika paired in 'Maska' earlier. Sonu Sood is seen playing a negative role in this flick while 'Colours' Swati will be seen in a special role. S S Thaman scored music for the film. "The music has come out exceptionally well. The audio launch is going to be at Taj Deccan. I can't wait for the movie to release" hero Ram said. This romantic entertainer will release in theatres in  the last week of this month.

'Bodyguard' shooting in progress despite bandh

On the one hand the entire Telangana region is observing bandh. The Film Chamber had announced its voluntary participation in bandh and almost all theshootings were cancelled for these two days and even the bandh is being observed by the cinema theatres. Notwithstanding all this, theshooting of 'Bodyguard' directed by Gopichand Malineni and produced by Bellamkonda Suresh on thebanner of Sri Sai Ganesh Productions is continuing non-stop. The shooting of the film is in progress at a guesthouse owned by the producer himself at Gandipet in Hyderabad. Some important scenes involving Venkatesh and Aliare being shot now. Trisha is pairing up with Venkatesh for the third time and is eyeing a hattrick hit with him. Thaman is scoring music. The film is the remake of aMalayalam film 'Bodyguard'.
