The Nandi Awards selection committee has been sold for money in giving awards. They areselecting artistes based on recommendations of some wealthy and influential people andpoliticians and the selection is not depended on the merit.' Mohanbabu might have forgot that his 'mentor' Dasari Narayana Rao was recently selected as the best artiste for 'Mestri', for the year 2009 and ofcourse his words are true as thecommittee failed to recognise Ram Charan, who gave a wonderful performance in a blockbuster like 'Magadheera' in the same year.
