Telugu girl is Miss India Universe-2011

Telugu beauty Sunkavalli Vasuki details: Telugu beauty Sunkavalli Vasuki won the Miss India Universe-2011 title. Vasuki whose family hails from Unguturu in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, grew up in Hyderabad and New Delhi. She went to St.Ann's School in Secunderabad and colleged from Villa Marie in Somajiguda, Hyderabad. Dia Mirza and Diana Hayden were two other Hyderabadi beauties who won similar crowns earlier. In the Miss India contest held in Mumbai this Friday, Vasuki bagged the Miss India Universe title. She will now represent India in the Miss Universe contest in Brazil on September 12th this year. Her family in Hyderabad and Unguturu expressed happiness at her achievement. Vasuki's grandfather Sunkavalli Vittalaprasad Venkata Krishna was the Sarpanch of Unguturu between 1971 and 1983. Shecompleted her graduate studies in Law from New York University and even worked for United Nations Organisation for sometime. Former Miss Universe and actress Susmita Sen crowned Vasuki the Miss India Universe at an event held in Mumbai on Friday. We hope Vasuki becomes Miss Universe and makes Telugus proud world over.
